Hattiesburg restaurateur Ron Savell mindful of heart health

Hattiesburg restaurateur Ron Savell has always been healthy, active and mindful of what he eats. But, as an adoptee, he didn’t know his family history. The lack of knowledge could have been his demise. Enjoying his life with seemingly no problems, a stress test followed by a heart catheterization at the age of 43 determined Savell needed a quadruple bypass surgery soon. After a successful surgery at Forrest General 18 months ago, Savell is as healthy as ever, and he has started his own family health history.  Learn more about his heart health journey by clicking on “Read More.”
